Calling all superheroes! Partnership for Strong Families will hold our 10th annual Superhero 5K event on Sunday, November 3, at 8:30am at Westside Park! The Superhero 5K is a family-friendly event that invites superheroes of all ages and experience levels to dress as their favorite superhero and race to the finish. Funds raised from this event will go toward finding forever families for children awaiting their permanent homes. Participants are encouraged to post pictures to the Facebook event page that is coming soon!

Children 5 and under are free, children ages 6 to 15 are $5 per child (children’s T-shirts are available for an additional $5), ages 16 and up are $20 per participant, and registration includes a race shirt. Registration for children who are in licensed foster care through PSF is free with a registered Partner Family. Also, anyone participating in the race who has been adopted is eligible for a FREE race shirt!  Please contact Tricia Braitsch at Patricia.Braitsch@pfsf.org or (352) 244-1604 to register youth in foster care for their free shirt.

We can help change the lives of many children and teens.

A hallmark of PSF’s system of care is our belief that child abuse is preventable. We have found that by providing resources and supports to families in need on the front end, many can avoid reaching the crises that lead to formal child welfare involvement functions.
