How to Support Us
Partnership for Strong Families is a not-for-profit, 501(c) (3) child welfare organization. We work to strengthen families and protect children by partnering with community stakeholders who believe, as we do, that every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment. Our community stakeholders donate their time, treasure, and talent to ensure children and families not only receive critical services in the face of abuse and neglect but also benefit from prevention efforts that strengthen family well‑being, especially in communities that face systemic barriers to support. Below, you’ll find ways that you can join us in this mission. Please contact the Development and Engagement Team at GetEngaged@pfsf.org with any questions or for more information.

Join the Strong Families Circle
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to uplift our community year-round, we invite you to join our Strong Families Circle. This group of compassionate monthly donors is committed to sustaining our mission and helping strengthen and empower local youth and families. Your monthly donation goes to support foster youth and strengthen families through child abuse prevention programs and resources. Below are examples of how your monthly donation impacts our community.

Host a Donation Drive
By listening to local caregivers, we’ve identified the tangible supports that matter most. Your organization can partner with us to equip families with essential supplies as they work toward financial sustainability or to collect donations that directly support foster families as they care for youth during critical times.

Volunteer
You can donate your time to make a difference in the community by volunteering at one of our four Family Resource Centers. These hubs of support and connection are located in Gainesville, Lake City, and Chiefland. We also welcome volunteers during the summer to help pack bags for our Back-to-School Drive, and in December to sort gifts for our Wish Upon a Star gift drive.
