GAINESVILLE, FLA – With the support of the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners, the SWAG Family Resource Center (SWAG FRC) is working to strengthen the mental health services and resources available to children and their caregivers in southwest Gainesville. The Resource Center’s enhanced focus on mental health will include a series of programs and workshops that are available at no cost to the community thanks to a $25,000 grant from the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.

Child abuse is preventable
We can help change the lives of many children and teens.
A hallmark of PSF’s system of care is our belief that child abuse is preventable. We have found that by providing resources and supports to families in need on the front end, many can avoid reaching the crises that lead to formal child welfare involvement functions.
