Resource Center Model: Evaluation, Refinement, and Expansion

Community Collaborations to Strengthen and Preserve Families Grant

Strengthening Families Self-Assessment Action Items & Updates

As part of our process evaluation, one of the largest refinement efforts to-date has been the Strengthening Families Self-Assessment (SFSA) process. Each of the Resource Centers completed the SFSA process which engages direct service staff, community collaborators, and community members in equitable evaluation methods to ensure community voice is continuously heard and incorporated. Based on the discussions from the SFSA process, action items were developed to help aid in the continuous quality improvement of our Network of Resource Centers.  These reports highlight action items and updates associated with each Resource Center.

Child abuse is preventable
We can help change the lives of many children and teens.

A hallmark of PSF’s system of care is our belief that child abuse is preventable. We have found that by providing resources and supports to families in need on the front end, many can avoid reaching the crises that lead to formal child welfare involvement functions.

Monetary donations throughout the year are a huge help to the children we serve. We accept donations by check, which can be mailed to our office or through the Philanthropy Hub link here.
