Randal, 15

Meet Randal – a 15-year-old with boundless energy, a love for adventure, and a passion for building! Whether he’s outside climbing trees, chopping wood for bonfires, or tackling yardwork and landscaping projects, Randal is always ready to dive into something hands-on. He has a deep connection to the outdoors, and there’s nothing he enjoys more than immersing himself in nature and creating something with his own two hands. Randal dreams of becoming a construction worker, and his love for building shows in everything he does – from crafting bonfires for roasting marshmallows to designing intricate Lego structures.

Randal thrives in the summer, where the long daylight hours allow him to fully embrace his love of outdoor activities. Fishing, jet skiing, hiking – these are just a few of the ways he enjoys soaking in the warm weather. Randal’s energy is contagious and extroverted, and he’s always looking for new ways to socialize and have fun. Recently, he placed 2nd in his age group in a 5k race, showing off his competitive spirit and determination. He’s also eager to try rock climbing and snow skiing, always looking for the next hobby to challenge himself with! When Randal isn’t outdoors, he enjoys some down time playing video games or building with Legos. His musical tastes are also upbeat, with country and hip-hop filling his playlist. Whether it’s a quiet moment indoors or a day full of outdoor action, Randal is always on the go, and he’s looking for a family that can keep up with his energetic spirit.

Randal would thrive in a home with a large property where he can explore, climb, and dive into his outdoor projects. He’s looking for a family that shares his love for adventure and would love to spend time with him hiking through the woods, camping under the stars, or tackling a DIY project around the house. Randal would also like to be supported by a family as he aims to complete high school and apply for his first part time job. A family with pets would be a perfect fit.  In terms of family dynamics, Randal would do best in a traditional home with a mother and father figure with no siblings, or a home with older male siblings. Randal is eager to be part of a family that values togetherness, hands-on activities, and an active lifestyle. Randal appreciates helping around the house and being involved in day-to-day activities – from chores and errands, to tackling household projects with his family.

If you’re a family that enjoys staying active, spending time outside, and nurturing an ambitious teen, Randal could be the perfect addition. With his generous heart, bouncing personality, and excitement for life, Randal is ready to bring joy and a sense of adventure into your home!

Randal’s Adoption ID is #104094837

Child abuse is preventable
We can help change the lives of many children and teens.

A hallmark of PSF’s system of care is our belief that child abuse is preventable. We have found that by providing resources and supports to families in need on the front end, many can avoid reaching the crises that lead to formal child welfare involvement functions.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations throughout the year are a huge help to the children we serve. We accept donations by check, which can be mailed to our office or through the Philanthropy Hub link here.
