Dakota, 16 years old

Dakota is a friendly teen with a magnetic personality and great sense of humor.  He is kind and easy to get along with, and is quick to share a smile and a conversation about rap music.  Dakota is in the band at school and also has an interest in pursuing ROTC.  He enjoys jogging after school and is up for any new adventure, especially if it includes the opportunity to try new foods along the way. A gentleman and a friend to those around him, Dakota lights up a room with his smile and ability to engage others.  Dakota would make a great big brother, but would also be open to a family without other children as he gets along with adults, peers, and younger children alike and encourages those around him, no matter their age.  A room is warmer once Dakota has been in it.  Might there be room in your heart and home to consider Dakota?  Dakota’s Adoption ID is 107096551.

Child abuse is preventable
We can help change the lives of many children and teens.

A hallmark of PSF’s system of care is our belief that child abuse is preventable. We have found that by providing resources and supports to families in need on the front end, many can avoid reaching the crises that lead to formal child welfare involvement functions.
