Partnership for Strong Families is seeking a Director of Development and Engagement (DDE) to lead our fundraising, community engagement, and outreach initiatives. This role is ideal for a natural self-starter with a passion for building relationships, inspiring community support, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance our mission.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives, including grant development and donor relations.
  • Oversee media relations, social media, and branding efforts to enhance community awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive impactful community outreach.
  • Lead special events and large-scale initiatives such as Wish Upon a Star, Amazing Give, and Back to School drives.
  • Represent the agency on local and state committees to strengthen partnerships and advocacy efforts.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and manage volunteers to support organizational initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary media contact, ensuring clear and compelling messaging.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, human services, event planning, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in development, communications, or related fields.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector, event planning, and social media management is highly desirable.

 The Ideal Candidate has:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, budgeting, and community engagement.
  • Strong social media and technology proficiency to drive digital campaigns and outreach.
  • Excellent written communication skills for crafting impactful messaging and presentations.
  • Leadership and strategic planning abilities to manage projects and drive organizational growth.
  • High energy, creative thinking, and strong interpersonal skills to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accountability and time management.

Salary Range: $59, 462.31 to $65,408.54
