Job Fair And Career Day
Help with finding a job is one of the most frequently requested services by patrons of the Library Partnership. Our goal through our Job Fair and Career Day events is to provide jobseekers a place to meet potential employers and learn about employment opportunities and the desired skills to obtain a job. Non-profit organizations and businesses within the community participate by setting up information booths and talking with attendees about job opportunities within their organizations.
People who would like resume assistance or help with interviewing skills outside of these events can request this service from our Library Partnership staff. There is also a job board posted in the resource center highlighting current positions at various skill and experience levels. Additionally, Three Rivers Legal Services frequently provides an afternoon workshop on cleaning up criminal records for those with offenses that can be expunged.
