Alexander & Malcom

Alexander & Malcom - 8 years old, 13 years old

Alex and Malcolm are loving and energetic brothers. Though Malcolm is 4 years older than Alex, the two still love to play together. They enjoy playing outside, video games, and sports most of all. Good hearted children who deserve a loving family, they would do best in a dual parent home. Malcolm and Alex will benefit the most from an active family who has plenty of time to spend with them.  The brothers also have a third sibling named Eric.  Alex and Malcolm would appreciate a family that would be willing to allow them to maintain contact with each other.

Alex has short brown hair, beautiful brown eyes, and a cute smile. He is tall for his age and has a medium build. He likes to play out side, especially climbing trees and playing kickball. He also is a very good dancer. When he is inside he like to watch his favorite television shows, Power Rangers and Sponge Bob. Alex is an energetic and pleasant boy looking for a loving family to be a part of someday. Malcolm, like his brother, also has short brown hair and brown eyes. Malcolm is friendly and personable, with some of his favorite hobbies including drawing, playing video games, watching sports, and singing gospel music. His favorite subjects include drawing and math.

Alexander

Alexander - 16 years old

Vivid imagination, jokester, loves to laugh and be the center of attention are some of the things used to describe Alex.  He is not picky when it comes to food unless it's Ramen Noodles or sushi.  He states he loves sports, especially football, baseball and basketball. Alex is a big fan of the Florida Gators football team. When he's not listening to music or watching television Alex  enjoys skateboarding, hanging out with his friends and playing video games.  Alex would benefit from a family who will  love and support him and  allow him to maintain contact with his sibling.


Alexander

Alexander -

Alexander, also known as “Alex,” is a charming nine year old boy.  Like most young boys, Alex loves to ride his bike and play outside.  He is very active and curious.  His current caregiver reports Alex is very intelligent and has a lot of potential.  Alex loves to give hugs to his current caregivers and enjoys receiving attention. He would most benefit from a family who will be patient, loving and understanding with his needs.


Alexander

Alexander - 16 years old

Alexander enjoys skateboarding, playing with his X-box 360 and spending time with his friends. Even though he's a picky eater, he enjoys any type of pasta, especially macaroni and cheese. He has a wonderful imagination and loves science. Alexander needs a permanent family filled with love and encouragement.


Alvin

Alvin - 17 years old

Alvin is a very friendly and outgoing young man who greets people with a great big smile. Alvin likes to play sports, his favorite of which is basketball. Alvin would like to attend college and earn a degree in business. He has expressed that he would like to join an adoptive family that lives in Florida and prefers a single-parent home with a mother. Alvin is open to siblings of any ages and loves dogs. Alvin is a very sweet and soft-spoken young man looking for the support of a forever family.


Charles

Charles - 17 years old

Charles is an active teen who loves to play sports. From basketball to football and a little bit of wrestling, Charles is a sports fanatic! He also enjoys riding his bicycle, horseback riding and swimming. If you can bring him inside, Charles loves playing video games, watching TV and going to new and exciting places. He would like to ride a four-wheeler one day. Once he warms up, Charles is very loving and affectionate. He would do best with a family that will devote extra time and attention to him. He needs to have structure both at home and at school. Charles wants to be adopted by a loving family that will provide him with stability, consistency and security.



Dalton

Dalton - 13 years old

Quite the storyteller, Dalton has a great sense of humor and likes hanging out with his friends and going to the YMCA.M11 He loves to play video games but also enjoys being active. He plays basketball and soccer and loves swimming. He is fond of dogs and cats, and would love to have a dog to play with. When relaxing, he likes to listen to music on his mp3 player. One of his favorite foods is pizza and he enjoys a piece of candy every once in a while. Though he struggles with school, he has improved his grades with extra support. He gets frustrated easily but L18 also willing to try with some loving support. He has an older brother, and it's important that they  remain connected and can visit with each other. Dalton needs a family that would advocate for his educational needs and take him to necessary therapy appointments. He would benefit from a structured, stable, loving family willing to be flexible to his individual needs. His main wish in life is to be adopted and have a family of his own.


Damion

Damion - 17 years old

Delightful and charming, Damion wonderful to be around.  Eager to make you smile, he is also very polite and is easy to engage in conversation.   Damion wants a mom and a dad who love the outdoors and enjoy family outings.  Damion will do best in a home with an older brother and with loving, patient and consistent parents who have experience with children. Damion needs a family that will help him develop his many interests and skills. He is creative and inventive and loves games and doing mechanical tasks.


Deja

Deja - 11 years old

Deja is a very happy child, and she's almost always in high spirits! Her foster parents describe her as "fun-loving" and a child who "goes with the flow." She rarely fusses, unless she's tired or hungry. She loves all kinds of different foods and never has to be coaxed to eat what's on her plate! While Deja needs a lot of one-on-one attention and assistance with her daily needs, she continues to make steady, consistent progress with her current foster family. Deja learns a lot from her teachers and other adults in her life. She deserves a family with patience and lots of love.


Dillon

Dillon - 15 years old

Dillon is full of life, energy and curiosity. He is an active, good-natured young man with a delightful personality. Dillon likes fishing, swimming and dancing. He enjoys taking pride in his personal appearance and will be the first person to jump in front of a camera! Dillon is ready to belong to a family and share in the lives of those who will offer him the chance to learn and grow while accepting him for who he is.


Emanuel

Emanuel - 15 years old

Emmanuel "EJ" loves to play contact sports such as basketball, football and karate. He is a Gator fan and loves to cheer on the team during a football game. He enjoys playing video games and watching SpongeBob Squarepants. E.J. desires to be adopted by a family that will love him and teach him the joys of life.


Eric

Eric - 15 years old

Eric has a dark complexion and a medium build with short brown hair and bright, brown eyes and is of average weight and height for his age. When first meeting Eric he is shy and timid, but once he gets to know people he opens up and shows just how loving he can be. Eric’s favorite games are basketball and football. His mother taught him to sing Christian gospel music, and today it is one of his favorite hobbies. Eric likes to preach the gospel, fish, and go to the beach.


Jevon

Jevon - 13 years old

Affection and love follow Jevon wherever he goes! He loves to be outdoors and is most likely to be found riding his bicycle or playing basketball. He loves pizza and spaghetti. He is very active and needs firm boundaries and a consistent daily routine. Jevon would flourish in a nurturing environment that could provide the stability and encouragement he has needed for so long.


Kyle

Kyle - 17 years old

Kyle is an energetic 16-year-old who is smart, affectionate and loves to be active.  Some of Kyle’s favorite activities include fishing, playing soccer, reading  and playing video games. With a sense of adventure and curiosity, he loves to enjoy new recipes and will try eating new foods at least once.  Knowing how to get what he wants, Kyle needs strong parents that will consistently enforce the rules of the household.  He needs to be in a two-parent home where he would be an only child for him to get the time and attention that he needs and deserves.


Mar'leisia

Mar'leisia - 13 years old

Mar'leisia  enjoys making jewelry and dancing.  She also has an athletic side and  is a fan of basketball.  Her favorite hobbies are cooking and baking. She has some great recipes but her favorite  meal to share is spaghetti. Mar'leisia prides herself on being of Christian faith and enjoys going to church on Sunday. Upon graduating from high school, Mar'leisia is considering going to cosmetology or design school. Mar'leisia is in need of a loving  mother who can dedicate her time to helping Mar'leisia grow and learn. 


Owen & Matthew

Owen & Matthew - 17 years old, 14 years old

Owen and Matt are brothers who have a very strong and loving relationship. Owen is 16 years old and Matt is 13 years old. They were born in the Bahamas and are very proud of their island culture. They enjoy eating seafood and Caribbean foods. Owen and Matt do very well in school and make mostly A’s and B’s. Owen enjoys sports more than his little brother Matt and is in the track team at his high school. Owen additionally likes playing video games and loves buying and wearing different sneakers. Matt enjoys listening to music such as Hip/Hop and Rap. Like his brother he also enjoys playing video games. Owen is very protective of his little brother and does not want to be separated from him. Matt looks up to his older brother and would be devastated if he was separated from him. Owen and Matt are friendly and have a good sense of humor. Both boys are very shy and quiet when you first meet them however they warm up after talking to them for a while. They would benefit from a family who will be supportive of their goals and help them continue to achieve good grades in school. Owen and Matt were not wanting to be adopted for a while due to an unsuccessful adoption they experienced in the past. They have recently changed their minds and are more willing to consider adoption as long as they would be able to remain in Florida near the Gainesville area. They are good hearted boys who deserve a forever family who will provide them with unconditional love and support.

Owen loves to play basketball, football and video games. He does well in school and has a younger brother with whom he hopes to be adopted.

Matthew is friendly and smiles often, though he's not very talkative. He has a an older brother, and they share a very close bond; they hope to be adopted together. Matthew likes to play video games and enjoys eating seafood. He is quiet when you first meet him but warms up quickly. Matthew needs the love and attention every child deserves.


Michael

Michael - 12 years old

Though shy, Michael likes to play video games and basketball. He also enjoys roller skating. He would benefit from a patient and sensitive family that will provide him with unconditional love and understanding.


Renard

Renard - 15 years old

Renard is a very intelligent young man who does well in school when he chooses to stay focused and on task. In many ways, Renard is quite mature for his age. He loves to play football and basketball, and he likes Oreo cookies. Renard likes attending church services and has expressed that he would prefer to be adopted by a single male. He stated that he wanted the man to be "a good one."


Salvatore

Salvatore - 13 years old

"Salvatore, or "Sonny," as he likes to be called, hopes to become a firefighter or policeman when he grows up. He's intelligent and loves to play football. Though he's been through a lot, Sonny's eyes show his happiness and innocence. Sonny's favorite foods are meatloaf and corn, and his favorite color is dark blue. His favorite animals are tigers

He will do well in a family that has a lot of love and can provide him with structure and stable environment.


Stephon

Stephon - 17 years old

Stephon is a cooperative, polite and playful young man. He likes to play wrestling video games and computer games. His favorite game is football and often says that "football is [his] life." He is one of the Florida Gators' biggest fan, and his is favorite football player is Percy Harvin. Stephon dreams of becoming a professional football player, but his secondary career goal is to become a computer engineer.
