Free Children’s Book Give-away
The Library Partnership partners with the DCF Access Program to provide free books to children as a way to promote early literacy. Without this opportunity, many families may not be able to afford the books, magazines, etc. that give each child a means to create their own at home library.
The Library Partnership also promotes literacy through various other programs and services, as well as by encouraging patrons of the resource center to visit the library side of the facility. Special accomodations can be made for participants of programs offered who are not literate.
