Additional Neighborhood Resource Centers
Because of the overwhelming success of the Library Partnership, PSF’s first Neighborhood Resource Center endeavor, two additional centers are planned:
- PSF is partnering with the SouthWest Advocacy Group (SWAG) to provide a center manager for their resource center to be located in a troubled area of southwest Gainesville known as the “Mike Zone.” The SWAG Family Resource Center is currently being developed utilizing a building donated by the county. The resource center is set to open late spring 2012. Visit SWAG's website to learn more.
- PSF is also collaborating on resource centers in needy areas of Lake City and Perry
