Goals
To create a Library and Neighborhood Resource Center that:
Values Children
We will offer services that provide children a healthy start both physically and emotionally through programs such as school readiness activities, Healthy Start services, child development classes and infant screening and diagnostic services.
Strengthens Families
We will offer parent-child activities to help parents learn the importance of early interaction with their children, tutoring and mentoring programs, relative caregiver support and an array of services to help families avoid a crisis or respond to a crisis.
Engages the Community
We will offer a place for community members to meet and interact, while encouraging local involvement through service learning opportunities.
PSF's Mission is to enhance the community's ability to protect and nurture children by building, maintaining and constantly improving a network of family support services.
