PSF’s Staff Development Team is offering the following trainings to outside agencies and their staff. Pre-registration is required and can be done by submitting the form below. Friday March 24, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – The Visitation Room – Learn how to make the most of family contact time.
Monday March 27 – Wednesday March 29, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – PRIDE Training – This training is exclusively for those professionals who recruit, train, license and approve foster and adoptive homes as well as place children. It is also open to the first five CWCMs and professionals.
Friday March 31, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Right Position Training – Case Managers and Support Workers will learn the right positions to hold, feed, and change a baby along with developmental milestones, car seat safety, safe sleep, shaken baby syndrome, and how to mix baby formula.
Wednesday April 12, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Missing Child Training – Join us to learn more about the Rilya Wilson Act, Amber Alerts and what you can do to prevent our children from being added to one of these statistics.
Thursday April 13 – Child Welfare Pre-Service Cycle 1 – Last day of Pre-Service training and Child Welfare Competency Exam.
Friday April 21, 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – The Crosswalk: IPV, Safety Plans, FFA-O – Join us for guidance on the creation of Safety Plans and FFA-O in cases involving Intimate Partner Violence.
